Well, unless you are going to use libre office or similar, you probably
don't need Java for anything. I guess some websites might use it, but
unless you know you need it, get rid of it and you'll have one less
security issue.

First question: how do you know you have a problem? What isn't working?
For example, the Libre Office 3.64 did not work, but the 4.0 at least

Hi Scott:
I made the decision to buy a new windows 7 desktop computer in November.
I read the how to use windows 8 books from bookshare.
I decided for now to stay with windows 7, even though for the most part windows

I am very happy with my choice, I am

Hello Everyone,
I am about to purchase a new laptop. I am trying to decide rather to go

using JAWS 14, which does work with Windows 8. However, I have been told by
some that Windows 8 is difficult to use with a screen rea

Hi all,
I just wanted to report that the issue with Jaws crashing when pressing
alt+tab was mine and apparently pretty much mine only.
I would like to report that it has been fixed.
Thank you FS. before I couldn't even use Jaws 14 because this issue was so
severe.
Thanks.
