Steve,
Probably need to confirm a couple things.
Is this a Revflow carb?
Do you have the Dual Bendix mags?
I have both so this would only apply to these.
I have run into "rough" engine running when I've pulled the carb heat "on"
in colder weather. 65F does not seem to be that cold though. I
I do remember this happened regularly with Aeropoxy during my wing
construction. It eventually lost it's tackiness, but it sure was annoying.
I have pretty much switched to West Systems since and haven't had any issues
with it.

I weighed mine as Larry indicated with just one home bathroom scale. It does
take more time, but doesn't cost any extra. I leveled the airplane at each
stage.

Sorry, I don’t think so. Most unusual I’ve seen is a turbine. Not sure how that
would work on our KRs very well.

Mike,
I could use the details when done. I am curious if you had to replace the
entire axle and remount to the gear legs. Also the specific model of the brakes
since they have so many options.

I would stay away from the MGL V6. I have one in my KR2S, but it is not great.
I was very difficult to get the radio to work with my existing antenna. I had
to build up a pretty big ground plane to make it work, so I do not recommend
it. My original ICOM A4 hand held was better.
Thanks,
Rob
Pete,
I am using just regular AN bolts with castle nuts - safety wired.

Craig,
I tried to use a RC servo for my KR elevator trim. The DAR would not accept it.
His issue was that if the servo lost power it didn’t have a lock up mode
unpowered. The possible result was flutter in the trim tab. I had to remove it.
Worth checking before you go that route.
Thanks,
Rob
Richard,
Not sure I agree with your assessment of West Systems. See there web site
at;
https://www.westsystem.com/
I have used it with cotton flox for structural gluing. And with micro for
non-structural. It is used extensive in boat building for all purposes.

Mark,
Both will work fine. I think that Aeropoxy was just a little less
expensive. It also takes longer to cure/harden which isn't a bad thing when
doing such a large layup as a wing skin.
Thanks,

Made it home to Lees Summit MO flying along with Griff Picket in his C172 no
issues. Cool and smooth air, a little hazy skies, and just a tiny bit of
tailwind.
Great to see everyone again! See you all again next year at Mount Vernon and
I'm sure I'll see some of you at Oshkosh as well.

N1852Z arrived at 6:20 pm as well. Fun has begun.

If you go stealth mode in a KR (no transponder) they might not even see us on
radar!
