`I guess I'm not too sure if I will make the gathering this year. Joanne is in
the hospital after a fall two weeks ago. The fall didn't do much harm,(broken
nose), but when checking for breaks with x-ray, MRI and CT scan, they found
that she had a rare parasite in her that caused abscess inside
I guess that I am going to miss this years gathering. I hoped that Joanne would
get out of the Hospital this weekend but she is still in. They are going to do
another test tomorrow to see if they can remove the three tubes in her. If they

Wow, only 51 days till the Gathering. Have you looked at the pre-registration
figures lately? There are 22 KR's registered to fly in to the Gathering. That
would be a new record!!! However, one of those is listed as being flown in from
Russia. That one will definitely get the long distance award
I don't think we will have root beer this year,I think we need to focus more on
the KR and share good stories about our experience with our projects.Just my
thoughts..

in Coffeeville, MO and Dalhart, TX. 7.9 hours in the cockpit bucking

connections. I heard that's one of the ?problems in experimental aircraft is
inferior wire connection and wire type.

I have been checking flights to Portland and noticed Southwest just opened
there calendar for September. My ticket would be about the same as Chino.
I followed the prices last year and noticed that they didn't get any

OK. Someone has to say it. Forget the airlines. I think I'll fly my KR!
Again this year I will be planning ?a parts run over to Wicks. (32 mile) on
Saturday the 29th. I'll ?be more then happy to pick your parts and bring them
out with me to save on shipping. Just tell them I'll ?be there on Saturday.
They need to fit in my suitcase and be able to go on to an airplan
