Is it normal for a bering 1.2 system to have an empty /var/log/syslog and an almost-empty /var/log/messages? I think I have found all the log messages that used to be in these files in other files, but I wanted to make sure this was normal... -Mark Ivey- --

Hi.. The DWL520 revE is indeed a prism3 card, so Hostap WILL run it... the deal is, those cards have no firmware on them. just a blank flash, you have the load the firmware at driver load time. This requires a recent kernel, and the LATEST CVS drivers... Do some research on the hostap mailing
