I am using V5 De Luxe (Dutch UI) en have a problem when entering date
Before 90. Entering 90 is possible (pop-up window asking if I am
correctwhich I am), but 'Bef 90' translates in Bef 3090...which is
quite a bit later.
Any advice from the group?

computer. Is it before 90AD before 90 years of age (probably not because you
say "date"). If it is a year then you need four digits eg 1990 or 0190 or

You cannot directly open a gedcom file with Legacy. You need to "Import"
the gedcom into a file. I would recommend importing it into a brand new
file and not into your working genealogy files.

Outlook has a feature where you can select to avoid seeing the "Read
Receipt." Turn it off, and you will not see the "Read Receipt." I would

You CAN keep whatever you enter in a date field - but you lose some
of the other checking features. Simply turn off Date Checking in
Options > Customise - Dates Tab.
No problem with Gedcom export. Some programs may have problems
importing non-standard dates but I haven't seen that.
