Roxanne, You are confusing two totally different things here. You are free to use whatever browser you like *but* Legacy does need IE7 to be *installed* as it uses the IE7 engine for VE. You can set as your default whichever browser you like ( currently I am using Safari as my default ).

Sometimes when I have not been able to uninstall via Control Panel Add/Remove. This problem was related for me when I had several different installations on my machine. I have been able to uninstall, when I go to installation directory and run unwise.exe. Unwise.exe will use the install.log
