only for living people with whom I am in contact and put the house name/number

Legacy simply chooses the lowest numbered RIN as the person to show in
tree finder so you have someone to select to view the group of people

individual. Clearly, I did not manually attach this source to each of about
15 events. I am manually removing it from each event (except the 1900 census
event to which it belongs).

Perhaps you will need to unlink this individual, delete him, then re-enter

Actually, Janis, I am quite confused!
I may have missed some of the details as I have been away, but as I understand
it imitially you had some sources that were attached to events in the reports
of person A's son when they really should have only been attached to events
relating to person A.
I am using Legacy 7, the latest update and I notice that I do not have the
new clipboard icons, discussed in a previous thread, displayed.on the
assigned sources window. I just have the 3 that were there in Legacy 6 .
Can any one tell me why this is so?

view shows Father, Grandmother, Great-Aunt, etc. When I add a new
