sorted as text characters and not numbers.
Putting leading zeros would solve your problem

Legacy recommends MRINs, which seems fair enough. I know that one can renumber
RINs should one wish but it is forced renumbering which would give me a
headache.
My concern regarding forced renumbering is not

I seem to be one brick short today. I didn't realize that people use
RIN's for filing systems, but if you do apparently it's already possible
in Legacy to have the RIN's put into the User ID fields with a single
click of a button.

the address of a cemetery may have the county city as mailing
address but it is located on the other end of the county and there
isnt any city close by the cemetery your location field does not
have a place for townships
You can put anything you want in the location field. For burials, I
put the cemetery name, town (if there is one or community name
sometimes for rural areas), county and state. (I don't use the
country unless it is not in US for any of my locations.)
If you want the plot info you can put that
