One thing I dislike when merging a second file into my primary file is that
all the modified dates on the second file get changed to the date of the merge.
I would like to still be able to see the last time I actually worked on that

On my location list I usually have something like
Town, County, England.
When the county lines have been redrawn, VE does not find the town. My way
around this has been to rename the location to
Town, England and then VE usually finds the town. The problem I have with
this is that it messes up
w the approximate location.
Mapping is a whole new area (no pun intended) and I and maybe others would

record locations from a census from all the various ones listed is to use

Yes XP does it. Every time I get a zipped file, it allows me to extract the
file. I just click on the file or folder and then click on "extract" and
the file
becomes a ged file.
