correct places) are also attached to one of your sources for each of the

If I am reading correctly, by 'are showing up in the records' you mean that
the photo is showing in the proper person? Next, 'now listing 5 photos that
are missing', you know where each photo should be, and they are?
an
extra space in one of many. I hope I uessed the cause.

Cathy and Ron,
Today I deleted the temporary directories and everything seems alright
again. My problems seemed to start when I tried to test my backup from my
flash drive.
I have seen some people mention on the list how they use the date with their
backups. I thought that was a good idea

Hi Jan,
Good to hear you've made progress.
I'd use My Computer with the Folders Pane and go to these Temporary
Directories and just see what is in them - then delete them all. If
you discover something in them that you'd like to keep, put it
somewhere more sensible.
When you make a backup,
ese Temporary
Directories listed there.
If what I have above is now right, I think with your help, I'm getting
things fixed.

Hi Jan,
I think you are getting confused because you are calling everything
associated with Legacy "Legacy". You need to distinguish between the
program and the data files you create using it - both Family Files

Hi Cathy,
Before I go any further, I thought I'd better check to make sure I do the
right thing in the first paragraph. Do you mean that I should be opening
the Legacy that is on my desktop and going to File>Restore rather than
trying to use the Legacy back up that is on my flash drive? I wa
