When I took the Libretto apart, I found that the PCMCIA slots are
socketed onto the motherboard, and that they had become unplugged.
Reseated them, and it works perfectly again.

Toshiba's website you are supposed to put the flash files on a disk,
plug the floppy drive directly into the computer
