It would be a chunk of work but creating an ARM LTSP should be quite
doable and as for no PXE it is quite possible to put the ltsp kernel on
flash and boot it from there. We have had to do this to support wireless
PCI cards

down load 3 images; a wireless boot, a regular network boot and a copy
of toms for rescue work.
It is not likely to see a lot of clean up work but I can make it
available and answer some questions for anybody who is intersted.

have a version that just boots the kernel and starts DHCP. Along with
this I have stuck the Toms image in there also.
All that has to be done is to stick the flash into the IDE cable header
and set up the BIOS. Faster than floppy and no moving parts.

As a side note booting X over a wireless link takes a couple of minutes.
It is not nearly as fast as a hard wired link even with the wireless
link running at 11Mbits.

I added -limit 100 to the start of xinetd. It is a bad fix but I have
not been able to figure out why it seems like 6-10 tftp sessions try and
start at the same time.

Has anybody looked into using Xboxes or PlayStations as a LTSP Client.
My quick queries show that these systems do not support VGA monitors and
I think that this would be a problem but possibly somebody has a
solution to that.

I am using a etherboot boot image being loaded via rpld.
One of the things I have noticed is that I get about 10 tftp requests
all at once for the /tftpboot/vmlinux.xxx file.
Has anybody seen this before and know what the cure is?
