work both in the workshop and on site as a rep for a company, so the online
catalogue needs to be available and acce

just posting this as a clean advisory on the use of quicktime and other
associated applications to handle non mac / unsupported media formats.
this is a quick guide with resources to support users running the latest
releases of OS X including snow leopard and Lion.
Apple quicktime is
VLC can handle these formats but not within a web environment unless a support
handler script is created that VLC can use safari by default as a format player.
as an example, if the format in question is embedded to the page and not a
downloadable object to the HD, then the use of perian scripts
