If i had understood the method, you have to copy the CD to another CD (setting the SCMS status )to finaly cpy the second to the MD. So you need a computer and a lot of blank CD. But for a pert of us we choose MD to avoid buying an computer + a CDR drive. This method isn't working for all the MD

For reasons I don't understand, it won't copy titles from a premastered disc. Simple, to deter you from copying premastered MD's w or w/o SCMS. They want to discourage copying of copyright medium. Not that it works, I'd say only about 75% of my MD's have titles and the only reason is have 75%

Hya All, If it's any help to you, I have a broken Sharp 702 unit which ignores TOC information. This unit will play the entire contents of a disc from 00:00 to 74:59 stereo, or 00:00 to 149:58 mono, ignoring all track marks etc. I could always copy the contents of the disc onto a blank one.
