Now here's a guy in trouble! ebay # 180337348083 97 E300D - seller says he
bought it last year for $97XX and after listing the item he learns it has a
salvage title! With ~2 days left on the auction its only up to $200!
I suspect he'll either keep it or lose big $$s.

Could be something got past the filter on the old tranny and into the
cooler. When you put the new one on you probably didn't flush or at
least blow the old fluid out of the cooler. That crap then got into the
replacement tranny and screwed that one up. Try taking the governor out
and clean it

No idea. I've never done it on one of those. Now if you ask about the
Suburban I could tell you right quick as I've done quite a few of those
for the same problem. Most of them were fixed right up, others did no
good as the hard parts of the rest of the tranny were coming apart and
