I think Frankenheap has issue with reflectors. I just got the shipment
from seller and these are the real deal. If $60 is a bargain to
regain night vision, then you should spend the $$$ to get this

Should. you just have to get the front end up a bit. I'd say it is
easier to swap the whole good system. You only have 2 bolts at the
manifold, and the transmission hanger.
How about dropping the entire good exhaust rather than cutting it up? Can it
come out of a 240D whole?

it "A/C Hose, Notes: Receiver-Drier to Expansion Valve". So I go looking online
for where the expansion valve lives and its up under the dash.
So the big question is can this hose be replaced without a dashectomy? I

better, or if there is no difference. He has hundreds, if not thousands

on making up nonexistent model designations when the manufacturer
provided a simple model ID. 300D easily fits in their allotted space.

The late 80's to 93 or so W124's had a 602.962, an updated 2.5 liter

Install becomes easy if you give the little buggers a coat of thick grease
on the inside surface. The little dab of grease holds the halves in place
while you guide all the spring/retainer/valve bits into place for a good

February of January of 2010 with about 85,000 miles. No leaks.
