Frosch gets low pressure when it warms up. Pegs at start and runs along fine
at speed. After reaching temp, the pressure remains in the 2-3 bar range as
long as I am at speed. When I get to a stop, the pressure drops to a little
over one bar. Idle on a warm engine is around 650-750rpm.
Not familiar with the 450 engine, but shouldn't the typical mbz idle at 1-3 bar,
and peg the gauge when driving?
Less than 1 bar at idle or 3 bar at 2,000 rpm would worry me.

I would be less concerned about idle pressure being above one bar than I would
about the gauge not pegging at anything above idle.

That side also has very minor head gasket leak. PPI indy found all this and
said the leak is a non issue at this point. The low
one bar oil pressure at operating temp is normal on a Benz. I'd not
get upset unless it fails to jump up immediately to 3 bar when the
engine speed increases.
