This was my first time seeing Modest Mouse and it was fucking
amazing. It was sold out and seemed to last over two hours.
The setlist is as follows and is *not* in order, except for the
encore which is right on. I'm literally going through the Modest Mouse
discography and typing
It's weird...when i saw modest mouse, i didn't even notice Isaac's lisp until
one of my friend's pointed it out. I used to always notice it on the albums,
especially teeth like god's shoeshine, but i guess that, after a while, i
just got so used to it that it was no longer a speech impediment.
every song sounds the same
Again I would submit that you're not listening hard enough. In my
experience when someone says this about a musician or group of musicians
it is because the person is not familiar with the genre of music. I know
that its true with me. For a long time I thought that

i'll jump in and just say that while their song 'the city' is one of my
*FAVORITE* songs out there right now, i'm kinda lukewarm about the rest of
their stuff. but, eh, i've only listened to the rest of that cd a couple
of times. maybe it'll grow on me, as was the case with modest mouse. are
well smarty pants i was at the boston show as well and and the mouse's just
rocked philly harder

ok ok the music is very good, and different, but the vocal harmonies and
what not, they all had nearly the same feeling. Now I liked the way they
sounded, and i was about to run back and pick up the album after the first
half of their set, but the songs were just so similar, that turned me off
The philly show was definitely an experience, and it seems like every show I
go to, the new guy playing guitar fucks up a song. I have only two
questions, 1) how could you not sing along to trailer trash(which it seemed
90% of the audience wasn't doing) and 2) How could you not dance during
ha. you're funny. my favorite isaac lisp little boy voice
songs are of course 1,2,3 lisp off and mice eat cheese.
he just sounds so damn cute.

hmmm... I guess I don't pick that stuff up like other people do. With Isaac,
I always felt he had more of a drawl than a lisp.

That's weird... although it's very common that stutterers don't stutter when

i was about to have an aneurysm, too. that screaming was really obnoxious
and it was obvious isaac was at least somewhat pissed about it. i've seen
