MySQL can be used with a multitude of programming languages, but PHP is
probably the most popular choice. For that reason, we always felt a bit
bad about our PHP-related documentation being somewhat sparse, mostly
The Spanish translation of the MySQL Reference Manual is finally
complete. It was done by one of our partners from Barcelona, Spain, with
a lot of help from our community (volunteer translators and reviewers).
The translation covers MySQL 5.0 and can be found here:

Hi,
Would it be possible to have a MySQL manual (documentation) in .pdb or
.pdf (for palm) so that it could be read on handhelds? It's a nice

Hi,
just a short note for the documentation:
IBM moved their AIX documentation, and did not find it necessary to
redirect this properly.
The link in:
http://www.mysql.com/doc/I/B/IBM-AIX.html
refering to the uname command, should go from:

Check the documentation:

Thanks to all for their suggestions.
NuSphere is 'expensive' because they sell a commercial product, a one

I thought about burning a PDF file on CD, but decided against it.
I'll probably pick up the MySQL book by Paul Dubois.

Nusphere offers a full distribution of MySQL, Apache, Perl, and php for $79.
Included in the box are three O'Reilly quick guides and the MySQL manual in
