It takes bloody forever to get to recorded programs, though CPU usage
is negligible, there's plenty of RAM, and everything else accesses
just fine.
I'm using the current CVS (2/10/05) and most everything else seems to be
ok.
Nothing untoward makes its way into the apache logs.

OK, this time I did
- restore .16
- run setup to upgrade the schema, then exit
- empty those two tables (with mysql)
- run set
Well, with Xv and a nvidia card and singlehead, there shouldn't be any tearing
whatsoever on video playback, unless you disable that through the
nvidia-settings app. That's built in to the driver.
Tearing, though is separate from the vsync support code in myth, which uses

I just watched Iron Chef America at 1.5x. Don't know about the chefs,
but I'm exhausted. I think I'll go take a nap.
I can't wait to watch the Tour de France at 1.5x. ;-)

If I use Mythtv from CVS on
1. Make it come up in a window and hide the edges, all done in
Appearance in within Settings. Do not forget to auto hide the kicker,

2. I live with it that way...not a concern for me right now.

Just a thought:
Which is the default bitrate for the audio?
I ask because the cmpci driver only supports S/PDIF output if the
bitrate is 44.1KHz or 48Khz, it does not support 32KHz, does anyone know
if this can be the cause of my audio problem?

So on this same thread...what would be the saner approach going from

Hi all.
I have just install mythtv on my Gentoo box. I have some trouble with it.
Problem 1.
I am using the PVR 350 TVout functionality. Without any big problem I got a

The problem is that X windows is too big for my TV. I have configured the

Yes. Pretty much just replace all instances of 2 with 3 in your sources.list.

Not sure. The DVB driver for the HD-3000 should work with 2.6.10 and later, no
problem. HD-2000 users

I compiled from the source packages (both 0.16 and 0.17) to get XvMC
support and fine tune other settings... As far as I can tell everything
that is there went smoothly. (I've not used it too much since I upgraded

If possible, the best option is 2.6.10 with the cvs of dvb-kernel. I
can't seem to get scanning that extra frequency to work, but I'll keep
trying.
