Is there any way I can uninstall Mythtv? I want to
do this because I believe that MyMSQL isn't installed properly? Thanks,
Ian.

Hello,
I've been using mythtv with my laptop for the pass week to play my video
files and like it alot but I was wondering if anyone know a usb tv tuner
with a remote that worked in 64bit and preferably reviced digtal tv
(freeview).
Thank you for your time
Ian
that the result of the
deinterlace could be different between processor architetures..

followed the guide on http://wilsonet.com/mythtv/fcmyth.php#mysql,
but it gave me the above errors. Also, is there a way to bypass the database and
just watch tv? ... Thanks... Ian

going on.
My original message might have not been entirely clear though -- other
than the circumstances I mention above, it runs without a hickup --

running.

nice, but the
motion won't be as 'smooth'.
I'm guessing this isn't really noticable in HD material because the
higher-resolution probably covers up for the bob effect.

When i issue 'mysql -u root mysql' or issue 'mysql
-u root mysql' , i get the error: Can't connect to local MySQL server through
socket '/var/lib/mysql/mysql.sock' (2) . And if I type in mythtv from the
commandline, all that happens is this: [EMAIL PROTECTED] ~]#
