Anyone have an idea what might be going on here?

nel, so I tried 5.2.2 (which does claim to support 2.6), but this suffered the same problem. Any idea what might be wrong?
FWIW, here is the command line used to run snmpd:
/usr/local/sbin/snmpd -V -DALL -f -L -A -C -c /etc/plc.config/snmp/snmpd.conf udp:8161
Thank you,

Us

range registrations with an instance as above? We've got something
working with the netsnmp_register_watched_instance, but this only
registers one column at a time...possibly some better ways exist?

I've written a replacement for the traptoemail script that is
distributed with the net-snmp package for use with the snmptrapd.
In addition to the functionality provided by traptoemail (reporting
traps via email), it logs the traps in two trees, sorted by date. One
tree is organized by hostname,
device has many interfaces defined and if I don't do it, it will be
difficult to tell what device is sending the trap.

I have the same problem with procfix using NetSnmp 5.1.3.1. The Net SNMP
agent hangs until the defunct process stops. This makes procfix unusable
when trying to restart processes however procfix does seem to work when
restarting services.

When I do a snmpset of the prErrorFix to 1 in order to restart a process
that has died the agent hangs after receiving the Set Request. The
process is restarted successfully but when the Agent eventually unhangs
a retry Set Request is received which causes another fix to be applied.
