I have just configurated my sound card (OPL3 SAx) by sndconfig.
All tests (audio and midi) were OK But I can't yet play my midi-s...
I have tried kmidi and playmidi -e ... . The result: either silence
or random sounds.

insists on resetting the time back to GMT from my EST. I do not know why it

I know 640x480 resolution is a bit closer to the cave age now, but if windoze
can handle it, i think the KDE
Mine does the same thing. On the Linux Mandrake web page, under updates
or FAQ, I forget which, one is directed to the redhat errata site for a
fix. I haven't tried it yet. Have you successfully configured the kppp
dialer yet? I am having lots of trouble there.

down to the last section called Screen section then find the server you using
and add a line after "ViewPort 0 0" and above " EndSubSection"

it and then click on the "install" button, then it seems to be unpacking
some stuff but when it finishes It doesn't seems to have being done
