Almost there! The login script now connects me to MSN and gives me back an IP address and MTU. The ppp connection was timing out however so I increased the wait to 60 seconds. Now I get the following message... "pppd daemon died unexpectedly" The log shows the following information... "receive

when the floppy is formatted..it won't be bootable unless you do a full format.. a quick format won't be bootable. are you doing "rawrite" from a dos promt ? if not cd to the drive that is the cdrom then cd to \dosutils ...enter command "rawrite.exe" ...it will ask where the image file is...on re

I assume your settng this up as an internet gateway, sounds like you need to swap the default route. null out GATEWAY and GATEWAYDEV in /etc/sysconfig/network, or use your favorite admin util. You might need to add a route for the internal network if you have more than one subnet. On Wed, 23 Jun
