I have also looked many sites and none can explain easily how to.
Also read Linux books and tried this:

Cheers, i'll try the play command tonight - i guess there's a man page
which'll tell what it's going to want to play (a CD, WAV file etc.)
As for if it ain't broke etc. - i agree, but someone must have deemed it all

A work colleague of mine has just installed Mandrake 6 on his new Toshiba
Satellite 4080 CDT. The install went fine (okay, we had to skip the X config
as i know the video is only supported by a 'custom' X server i have located
for him).
After rebooting into run level 3, the keyboard is locked
it's 'sndconfig'.

Hi. After I installed Mandrake 6.0, I chose (at the end of the
installation) to have a graphical login, the one with a blue screen where
you log in and choose the window manager. However, due to a crash inside X

Thanks for the feedback. In response to your questions, I've checked my
networking settings and they are correct. I'm using my ISP's servers.
Thomas J. Hamman said I should set my port speed in kppp's settings to
115200. I have the option of setting it as high as 460800. Should I do
that?

You use the "raw disk" option to use an alreadt-install OS. I have used this
with Win98 and it works fine and does not corrupt the regular Win98

Dan, we just discussed this issue in my local LUG. You may or should be
able to telnet in to the NT session running in VMware either from another
