Which generic driver did you select? I'm having problems getting my
first-time Linux install to recognise my MS I.E. mouse at all, so any advice
would be appreciated!

Hi Jero
Thanks very much for the info. Actually I don't have mdk 7.0 on the
laptop, had it on there but couldn't get on the net to get questions
answered so I reinstalled Windoze 1898. I will keep an eye on the pcmcia
services though.

Dear friends:
I have been using Linux for the past year, Mandrake for the past 6
months, Netscape 4.7 since Mandake 7.0 came out.
This may not be true for others, but it has certainly proved true for
me:

It is very possible and likely you need to flash your bios to support the
larger drive. I've got an old motherboard that had a 133 pent running with 3
15 gig IBM drives and a cyrix 300, but nono would have been possible without
flashing the bios. Would need to know motherboard manufacturer and

I can get fetchmail to download my mail, but when it comes time for it to turn
it over to the system, everything seems to be thrown into the "bit bucket"
how do I get fetchmail to do its job?
This is a copy of my .fetchmailrc file:
set postmaster root
set no bouncemail
poll mail.earthlink.net
The latest version would be located at linux.tucows.com . Also...you would need
to get ICQLib (ICQ Libraries) to run KXIcq properly (i'm using it myself).
Hope this helps!

Benjamin.guess I've not been following this thread. I
assume that you disabled the ps/2 mouse port in cmos when you
