In settings/configure konqueror/appearance there is a tab for appearance
which lists fonts for various things but none make any changes to the
font in the viewer or in Kwrite.

I tried the anti-aliasing but it caused some strange behavior in a terminal
window so I shut it off for the time being. I need to do some reading on
what anti-aliasing is and why it would cause the font in my term window to

just start with your home directory and just remember that .. is the
directory above your current directory. your hard drive should be listed as
/mnt/win_c for the windows drive, if you set it up as diskdrake defaults.
the top folder (to use a windows concept) is / the next folder down would
it for emergencies...

have you tried to adjust the setserial command to point to "/dev/modem" instead
of "/dev/ttyS2"? and set the modem in linuxconfig "initial system services"
to point to ttyS2, and turned offf all PNP on the BOIS? including PNP aware OOS
to NO?
