Try rpmseek.org and pick the most recent (highest version #) cdrecord rpm for
mdk 9.1. I didn't have any dependency problems with the cdrecord downgrade
and I doubt there will be a problem with cdrdao.

This was great advice
See my post and reply from a few days ago. I had the same problem (different
CDR) under 9.2. After downgrading the cdrecord package to the one supplied
with 9.1, I think this solved the underrun problem without having to also
downgrade cdrdao. Needs more testing however.

I was having some trouble burning ISOs with K3B in mandrake 9.2
however it used to work fine in 9.1. I decided to uninstall K3B and
install the old K3B off the old 9.1 CDs Now when K3B opens I only
have the toolbar at the top the rest of the K#B screen where the drag
and drop area should be
I'm using k3b-0.9-2mdk on my main workstation - works great!
Just installed it on another 9.1 machine, ran the setup, all looks fine,
but then running as a normal user I get all these issues with not
finding mkisofs etc.
Is there some magic here? Can I wipe out a config file somewhere and
For anyone that has a DVD-Burner and is looking for a GUI tool for burning,
K3b has a new version out and they have added DVD-R/-RW/+R/+RW support to the
tool. You should simply need to download the new .rpm's linked on the site
and install and you are up and running with the new version.
