You can search through the rpms folder of your install cd for it. I think it will be named something like XFree86-XF86Setup.i586.rpm. Install it from there. If you don't have X working at all, you'll probably have to mount the cdrom first with a mount -t iso9660 -r /dev/cdrom /mnt/cdrom. Then

I upgraded my system with the KDE.RPM's from the ftp.linux-mandrake.com site.. Ran XF86Config and set up everything as it was.. Ran startx and now get an error about not being able to find Font Server.. Everything was perfect before upgrading.. Any ideas? -Rick

You should be able to do this in KDE/Mandrake. You have to be root and do Xconfigurator, then let it probe your card for all possible settings. You then need to tab or move your cursor to each and use the space bar to check each one you want to be able to use. (640x480 8bit, 640x480 16bit,

Yup, that happened to me before too. My recomendation is: delete your old kdebase (rpm -e kdebase) reinstall kdebase from the RPMs in the Mandrake distribution The only problem is that after you run KDE again, you might have to reconfigure some minor details (I had to reinstall my theme. YMMV.)
