In any event. I would spend a little extra money and buy a ASUS MB. I've
had mine for a year.
And, have had zero compatability problems with ANY OS that i have tinkered
with.

I finally got linux installed on my computer. Partition magic wouldn't
resize my windows partition either so with a talk through from my cousin I
deleted and created a new windows partition that uses 4 gigs and the
remaining space on my 10 gb harddrive is used for linux.. not sure how well

I would first look if XF86Setup is installed on your box, run the command:
whereis XF86Setup, and if it isn't there then I'd look for it on the CD's and
install it. It is a very helpful tool for people who don't want to go
directly into the files to config.
By the way; startx is a seperate prog

Finally got my FTP server running...and it works correctly
all I had to do...was GET RID of wu-ftpd, and install ProFTPD instead.
I had so much trouble with wu-ftpd...that I said the heck with this,
and installed Proftpdrpm, and everything worked great, the fir
