I recently installed Mandrake 10.1 official on my IBM T23. Overall, I'm impressed. The install was better than any other version of Mandrake I've tried since 6.1, and the end result is fast and seems quite stable. I'll have to compile the Lucent drivers, but other than that, most of what I want
