I have the same problem with my sound. Were you able to fix
the integrated video and sound in the BIOS or you WILL have
problems.

What have I missed? If I turn to the 'man smb.conf' it should be enough
with 'writeable = yes' or 'write list = username', but somehow it isn't.

I have a LS-120 drive (120M Disks) and can't set it up as the
floppy drive. (Reads 1.44M aswell). It's detected during startup as
hdd, and works fine under DOS/Win95.
Editing fstab to
/mnt/floppy /mnt/floppy supermount user,exec,...,dev=/dev/hdd
just causes KDE/GNOME/... to
