I don't know why the link didn't work. I made it public to the web. If you google JJ's 1983 Nighthawk it will show up. and I found out today the previous owner was riding it without an oil filter! Also, does anybody know what kind of air filters are on this nighthawk?

I think the one thing everyone can agree on in an oil thread is: No Car Oil. None. Your bikes has a wet clutch. Car oils have friction inhibitors, you'll run the risk of burning out the clutch. Use an appropriate weight motorcycle rated oil of your choice. MA rating, if I'm not mistaken. JASO MA,
