In the (almost) better late-than-never category was a C.P. REPORT (from another
list) of a Kentucky Warbler for Sunday 8/23... not sure who or how many
actually saw it, how well, etc. - the report was from the Ramble area of the
park & there were no follow-up rep

ocal woods area. In the NYC public parks, other birders report
decent numbers although there is an indication that a lot of birds
went over and made their way farther south. This Monday night, birds
are on the move again throughout the northeast & beyond...

the summit, & even a small flock of 6 "peep"
shorebirds went over. Scarlet Tanager & Rose-breasted Grosbeak were
also among the migrants moving. A pair of ravens were much in
evidence, as seen & heard from the summit as is often found there
(year-round).

Folks, I'm just passing the message along here - this is from the
Connecticut Birds list again, there ought to be follow-up on a
Kingbird that would be MORE of a rarity than a Northern Wheatear (or
two... if it is really GRAY.

Fourth day in a row at the same Stratford, Connecticut location, a
Northern Wheatear was again reported early Tuesday, 8 September - but
also note the caution on local construction work resuming around there.
