i am developing an application for that i m using eclipse with OSDE
plug-in. i have created sample data and its working fine but, now my

The network distance feature is yet to be implemented in sandbox and orkut.
They are part of 0.8 spec all that orkut sandbox and real server runs is 0.7
spec,.

If you just get that error message without any debug information in
firebug. It means the problem is with the orkut server not with your
application.
You will end up in those kind of situation only when the sandbox server is down.
