Hey, a colleague of mine thinks that it is possible to connect two different OTRS systems, e.g. those of two companies. The idea is that tickets can be moved from one system to the other. Unfortunately I haven't found anything about that in the docs, nor in the mailing list archives. So I guess

Found the problem. I was creating agents by adding them to the role. A role was associated with a group. This worked for being able to work with the tickets. However, they did not show up in the search options or in the change owner options. I went to the group settings and set them there

Well I have made some progress albeit is a parralell direction :) I have installed the windows version of otrs installer onto a vmware XP session. I have then pointed this at the OTRS database on the linux machine. And it works with me being able to view all the tickets. Now I have not done
