I hate the xml api in .net. I started using json.net to parse xml into a
dynamic object.
dynamic purchaseOrder =

dynamic delAddress = purchaseOrder.ShipTo.Detail.DeliveryAddress;

The first thing I did was remove the XML serializer. The json took over as
default and then I changed the json formatter(I think it's called) to the
camel case formatter.
Works nicely.

Hi
It's clear that in the Start-up and Web communities the choice for
development platforms is not .NET.
Does this mean eventually this will filter up? I'm wondering what this
means for the future of .NET?
I once had a developer say .NET is the new COBOL.
If the data doesn't change then js on the page is a better option because
you don't have to make another call with latency.

I think you'll find the majority of developers hand code html via a

Mapping .css and image files through asp.net even with Integrated Pipeline
and asp.net MVC 3
I've got some complex routes setup in my asp.net mvc 3 project, unit tested
and working on development. For the most part they're working with IIS7 and
Integrated Pipeline and having mapAllRequests=true.

So I've been working with this client for a few years now, all the other
developers aren't alt.net type. They're older and just love their RAD, User
Controls, coming from a dephi background.
It took me a while but finally I got them doing unit testing, but still not
as much as I would like.

Does this exist already?
If not, someone needs to invent this as a VS pluggin. They would make some
good coin, if they did it nice.

Hi
Silly question time.
I do remember talk that post 3.5 many asp.net pipeline classes would be
interfaced, eg Session, Request, Response. I'm having trouble finding
details on the web and locating in the framework.
Is this true or am I dreaming?
Thanks
