Dear All,
I recently acquired an A70-210 zoom lens. I have since discovered that
there is a touch of fungus inside. It doesn't appear to be too bad as it is
_just_ visible when looking through the glass. I'll check whether it
impacts the photos as I also have a beautiful, clean example to
John,

Agreed, but a bit pricey at a $699 starting price or a $750 Buy-It-Now.

I'm in desperate need for buying a second body. I have to do it within next

Does anyone on the list have experience with this lens, and if so, what is it
like as far as sharpness, flare, handling etc. An approximate value in USD would

Hi Chris,
I hope I'm not going to start another long thread...
There is a huge difference between the two cameras, enough
difference to justify a choice.
I know that if the final purpose is to take a shot you could
either use a K-1000 or an MZ-S or a PZ-1 with the same lens on
and that's all.
Hi all,
As I have found my Z-1p to be rather lacking in the ruggedness
department, I'm considering buying an MZ-S as a second body(or as a
replacement) for taking on outdoor expeditions, ie: multi-day
backpacking, hiking, backcountry skiing (actually snowboarding...),
mountain biking, traveling

Good luck on the debate and decision. I can only offer this: If you like
manual control and like the basic premise of the SuperProgram, you will
really like the MZ-S. If you like the interface of the Canons, you will
like the PZ-1p better. I think the PZ-1p has a faster,

I do not know if there is any variation but mine is a plain adaptor without

If I gave points to each camera it would be that the PZ-1p does better with
flash synch speed which is most useful for fill-flash. It can also do flash
compensation with any TTL flash.
The MZ-S, however, is less tiring to hold (for me), better autofocus
(including multi-point) and in practice,
