Hi Bruce,
I've encountered some problems with film curl and 6x7 negs, but it can
be minimized. First, I don't allow the lab to roll my film. I tell them
to just sleeve it and hang it. When they give me the roll, I cut it into
individual frames, leafing the sleeve in place. I then place the

You only have to worry about that if you are using non-TTL meter. The TTL
meter measures the light coming through the lens so automatically
compensates.
BTW, a 2x converter has a 2 stop exposure factor. That is simply because it
makes the lens 2x as long. For instance, a 50mm f2 has a 25mm apertu

120, but not sheet sizes after the new production line goes on line. Bumm
Lots of info about the 2450 scanner.

Regarding an idea for back-illuminating MF negatives on a flatbed scanner,

I haven't tried scanning film, but when I did scanning of old stamps, I
found that a very thin sheet of high quality glass works wonders in

Back in the mid-70s, when I shot weddings, I had a divorce at the alter.
The groom walked out of the church, just before the ceremony was to
begin. It's hard to make those sweaty grooms look good anyway. My
other weird experience was a wedding where there were over 40 people in
the wedding party
