I'd say that's basically true for me, too - 50's, 90's, 100's, a
105, a 200, and a 90-180. (Except maybe for the F 50/2.8 Macro,
which is optically ~superb~, but which manually focuses like a piece
of junk.)

I replaced my 28-70 for the 28-105. Same size and
weight, longer range and sharper images (proved in
comparison shots).
I didn't consider the 24-90 due to its price and to
the fact that I already own (and like) an A24/2.8.

In a 100mm f/2.8 lens you would divide 100mm by a factor of 2.8
(focal_length/2.8) to get 35.71428mm as the maximum aperture opening
