I have been thinking of getting one of the cheap netbooks that have
appeared over the last year or so. Today I saw an Acer and a Toshiba that
both had 1gb of RAM and a 100+GB hard drive and were running XP. That seems
like the ideal travel computer to me, something that has plenty of storage

I recall driving on magic mushrooms in the late sixites. I think the
scientific name is syllicybin or something like that. Anyway, it was
interesting because the car remained stationery to my mind's eye, but
the road raced by under me at 80 mph or so. Somehow I survived the
sixties.
