I held my K20D and K-x side by side at 1/125 sec and fired both
a whole bunch of times. The K-x has a higher sound, but the sound seemed
about the same decibel level. Certainly not a marked difference
between them. Because the FPS is faster on the K-x, it is noticeable
that it finishes quicker
For what it's worth, the K7 is far quieter than the K20D. In truth, it compares
favorably with my Leica iiif. Definitely the quietest SLR I've ever used.
