I'll second that, Fred. I bought the Pentax-A 35-70 f4 for use on my
LX, and it is a really nice piece of workmanship, although a bit heavy
(balances fine though). Takes sharp photos and the macro is pretty
good too - I think it goes down almost to 2:1.

I Have a MZ-60 given to me And have discovered that only F and FA (FAJ?) lenses will
work.
The 2 soft focus lenses that Don't have an A setting on the aperture ring won't work
either.
I only have A lenses and none of them work with the camera at all.

Thanks for your comments. My problem was not enough contrast. The 1 hour
labs gave perfect and contrasty prints. I found I was going to filter grade
5 to get what I would normally get with a 2 or 3 but the prints still did
not seem as rich as what was printed on color paper at the lab. The

it was a breeze!) My first scans were of shots I took at the Miss Washington Pageant.

I currently own the older power zoom model. I am thinking of replacing it
