Here goes:
H and L modes are outputs on manual. H is high, and L is low. M is for
manual settings. MS is for manual settings but the flash will mate with the
LX and set the flash shutter speed at 1/75th second.
For off the camera TTL, get the hotshoe grip. I use the 4P Sync Cord B
cable. One
, possibly early 80's, but not seen any
since then.
Does anyone know where these can be obtained ?

On Mon,
I'll bite. My favorite lens is the SMC Takumar 35mm f2. It is always on my
ES II Pentax. sometimes I use it on my LX via the adapter. The lens has
replaced using my 50mm lenses.
For a zoom lens, I like my Tamron SP 35-80mm f2.8. With the adapters I can
use it on the ES II, LX, and now my
I have one - including the motor drive. Very desirable among some Pentax

I checked out the site with those 21 commemorative M6's. One of the models
was the Royal Photographic Society commemorative.
Late in Y2K I picked up a commemorative Olympus Mju (Stylus) made for the
100th anniv. of the RPS. Came with special box with notation that it was
the RPS commemorative.
Interesting camera. I have the Canon VI-T model that uses the old screw
mount Leica lenses. The camera had the trigger shutter tensioner, which is
fast. You could also use a top winder knob to advance film.
Some time ago, speculation appeared in the old pdml about Pentax producing a

If this works out I would be interested in getting one. Took me a while to

My very first advance camera was the H3. It was a college graduation gift
from my father. Still own the camera along with the meter that attached to
the top of the pentaprism.
Although this doesn't count in the pre-Spot comments, the Pentax SL is a
cool camera.

Shel,
Years ago I was traveling around the U.S. in a VW bus. I carried an ice
chest that had Kodachrome 25 and some Ektachrome. I traveled in very warm
and sometimes humid conditions (it was summer). There were times when I
didn't have ice and the film would warm up. Then I would put ice in
