The production life of a digital camera is approximately 6-8 months. The K-5 was probably discontinued a year ago as far as production was concerned, so that K-r and K-01 cameras could be assembled on the same line. "Improvements", (not always but they're sold as that), in sensors and support

4cm is huge. That's not on the order of matching up lenses, as with the K20D. Either there's a major mirror box problem that they're missing or the lens is severely out of whack. Is it out of whack when you manual focus as well? If so, it's probably the mirror box. Paul On Apr 15, 2008, at 7:

Mr Purolator arrived about 5 minutes after i got back from my PM run. I'll test it Tuesday. There is a letter inside saying focus checked and is ok. If problem is still evident, to send in the lenses. That will be an expensive courior bill. If i have to, i'll drive them in. Dave -- Equine Pho
