Lightroom 6.14 runs okay on MacOS Mojave. It runs “ok” on Catalina also, as long as you installed Catalina over an existing Mojave system with LR already installed. It’s the Adobe installer/license management app that doesn’t run on Catalina preventing LR 6 installation. My solution to this

ecosystem of LR is arguably more important to me. I can't tell you what features of the program are going to be important enough to you to justify the cost. I can say that a few bucks a month is easier for me to cover than the full price package, so I live with it in order to stay functional
