So you need to put it some place that the Palm looks
for programs. I'm not sure that the default launcher
looks anywhere on VFS, but there might be a specific

Hi Mark,
You can do it with Filez, you just have to set the launchable flag on the
doc while it is on RAM before you move it to the Palm/Launcher directory on
the card.
Steps:
1. Move the pluckerdoc.pdb to Palm RAM storage
2. Use filez to set launchable flag
3. Move to pluckerdoc.pdb to
It would be nice to be able to set up separate icons for various books
so that clicking on them would take you directly to the book instead of
where you were last.

You can, just use the launchable flag, and change the icon used
for the launcher when creating the documents.

Replying to myself.
Ah, I found the information on the launchable flag for the
windows conduit. Now I just need to find out how to set it
with Jpluck or on my palm.
If I do this for documents on the VFS, will I need to move

OK, using utilities like
Sorry I am the whole list today. If I set a plucker document as
launchable in 1.7.1 (annotation build if it makes a difference) I get a

If anyone can dupe it, I'll enter it into the bug database.

I use Plucker Desktop at work on WinXP and it works very well, but we
have to use a proxy to access the internet. This is normally configured
via a PAC file (auto-config). However, I can download the file and
figure out the IP address of the server I need to specify in Plucker
Desktop.
I think we need a allow only one instance for plucker desktop, due to
the problem of overwriting .ini file when one version of desktop updates
or adds a channel, and another one does not. Either that, or .ini file
needs to be re-parsed on quit, and merged with current into in memory...

Hi Eugene,
Thanks for your letter.
You can add it on the bugs list at bugs.plkr.org as a feature request. That will give
the best
forum for tracking, etc. The implenation is pretty straightfoward--there is a
singleinstancechecker class ready to go.
Best wishes,
Robert

What bookmarks list? I don't immediately see how to do this in the distiller.

ps-ok just discovered plucker is creating new unfiled memos... one per url
