Hi Michael
I had a brief, exuberant romp with Smartmix vers 1.20/1.22. It worked
perfectly on my reliable old ReadyNAS Duo (sparc) running Server 7.6.2.
Then the plugin auto-updated to vers 1.24 and hasnt given me joy since.
As far as I can tell, all the plugin functions still work properly, i

Disabling the "Find alternative files" option should speed up the
restore process significantly.
If it does a rescan in the middle of the restore I
Anybody want to take a crack and try to help me analyze this issue? Why
do I have to /etc/init.d /squeezeslave first before I see my
"stereoptic_squeezelite" as a player in LMS?
In addition to the 96/24 playing slow, some .mp3s play fast. I haven't
used it in a week and after a week of non use,

Did you change anything else since? Added new music? I
Got it! Thanks for answering my many questions.
No pain no gain. This new server has already cut my scan times in half
so when the painful switching part is over, it's going to be nice.
By the way, I continued having problems with MIP stalling when
dynamically update was enabled in custom scan
Does Trackstat import in the same order that files are listed in the
backup XML file? If so, then it appears everything is there, even though
Custom Scan said it was still running. And the songs with those "no
matching path entries" have their stats when I check them.
I will do a TrackStat expor
I tried to edit my Plugin.pm file to correct the capitalization of RAIN,
SNOW, and PREC ... made a mistake, and neglected to save the unmodified
Plugin.pm file. Rookie mistake, I know.
So, I tried to uninstall SDT from the plugins tab in LMS and then
reinstall, thinking this would get me a fresh

Great plugin thanks - it gets used a lot in our house!
One thing that would make it even better would be to allow multiple
accounts so my gf & me can both access our playlists.
Is there any plan at all to do this, it would be fantastic - cheers!

For the record, Trackstat restore took 3 hours the second time with the
option disabled for trying to match files. For around 25,000 tracks. I
also had MIP update disabled because that seems to slow it down, also.
After it finished, I did what you said to remove unused statistics. It
only took a

I was 3 hours into a Trackstat restore and I know I should have not come
near anything, but I changed a setting and it triggered a rescan...
aaagghh! I suppose I have to start it all over.
Why does trackstat restore take so long and is there anything I can do
to speed it up? Last time I did i
I disabled the option to look for alternates, and it seems to be
throwing a lot less errors. Hopefully this speeded it up, too. I am
still getting "no matching file" entries in the log for files I really
did remove from my library. How do I generate a Trackstat backup that is
cleaned of all these
By the way, I continued having problems with MIP stalling when
dynamically update was enabled in custom scan for MIP export. I now just
update it during scans. MIP doesn't crash or hang, but the database just
stops updating and the service has to be restarted to make it work
again.
Unless this i

A TrackStat restore should not trigger a refresh.
To be sure

I sent it to you in a separate e-mail.

No plans at present

I didn't see any errors in the server log marked "Mail". However I am
