There's none. As outlined above this step is basically two simple SQL
commands, but heavy ones. The process does not "stall", but it takes a
while and is monolithic. Therefore there's no progress shown.

It looks like we have a problem with transcoding. During transcoding it
looks like LmsRepack is looking at /SqueezeCenter, the previous install
location of LMS. I'm looking into this issue but it's hard to find.
Current workaround:
- Stop LmsRepack
- Install LmsUpdate
- Stop LmsUpdate
- Start Lm

Unfortunately I'm unable to detect why LmsRepack fails to transcode.
(I've no problem when updating LmsUpdate to 7.9.1)
I will upload the specific changes to github this evening (and will post

The problem is that sph will not install. Not from the plugins page and
it does not show up on the Advanced tab. I am at a loss because it works
fine with piCorePlayer and Max2play.

rather than do some non-reversible update.

working and it would not work with either its original version, the

Hi - the menu tree was in the player, sorry. The times will all be out
as I'm based in Seattle with an 8 hour difference from UK/ Ireland and
they give local time - so R+M is 5am Seattle, 1pm in UK and Ireland.
As I say, its working now and I'm very happy with the fix.

Ok, thanks for the conformation. I haven't had the time to look into the
port forwarding yet. I know Synology changed their policy and also
package structure to deal with this in an other way.

of using it to back-up our two desktop PC's and possibly to replace a

I've been trying to resolve my Local Player issue with new binaries
provided by Ralphy.
Everything I tried failed so as a last resort I tried uninstalling and
re-installing LMS Repack. The problem is the package won't re-install as

Synology links the package name to the install directory. I can't use
their package name
Synology ships LMS with bins and libs in the package. But somehow
LmsRepack looks at the wrong folder. Looks like static bins/libs or
something like that.
I guess the question is where the files are, where they are expected to
be, and how we can easily match those places. I'd rather not modify an

While installing the RePack, the Syno told me it needed Perl and asked
me if ist was allowed to install it.

Might work for some that way. My first install of LmsRepack ended in
error, and it didn't tell me exactly what the problem was. But made a
guess it was miss

I recently acquired a ds216play -- I did not have to update perl before
installing pinkdot's LM
Congratulation for LmsRepack. I installed yesterday as many other to
continue to use Spotify via the plugin Spotty 1.2.0
Spotty support to seek a song in vers. 7.9.1 of LMS, but seems that in
the build their is some difference:

Hi there,
I have a DS213 with LMS, and I'm really fond of having Spotify on my
Squeezebox. Now that this dream has shattered, I've tried Spotty, but it
doesn't run under LMS. After reading some of this thread, I've stopped
LMS, installed the RePack, and tried to install Spotty in there.

There seems to be massive confusion about which Synology NASs that are
capable of running Spotty though, it would probably help if someone who

Repack doesn't enable Spotty. Repack is LMS791 "configured"/packed for
Synology NAS models.
You can choose to install Synology's own "official" LMS packet instead,
but that is "only" LMS790.
