I'm trying to answer a trivia question someone threw at me...
Which Louis Jordan tunes made the country charts during the 1940's?
Apparently, there were three.

really getting into the album cause so much of it sounds the same. I had
the same problem with their live show.

at best. There were moments when he was
completely incapicated and Spider Stacy had to finish his verses. Even
when he was able to stand and sing, he seemed to be following the mouths of
the people on the front row for cues to remember the words.

I'm not on P2 anymore, but I wanted to toss this rant out to you
carnivores.
I've been listening and listening to Joe Henry's new one. I don't get it.
I'm trying and trying, but I can't. His songs are fine, but musically,
though it may be different for Joe, it's hardly adventurous and
Club Deville is on Red River between 8th and 9th - across the street
from Stubbs. Pretty cool bar. Pretty commercially responsible label.

I noticed recently that The Backsliders are scheduled to perform at both
Spittlefest (Raleigh, NC) and at SXSW. I thought they broke up. Did I
